Disc Golf Network Adds NADGT Championship to Live Broadcast Schedule

Only two weeks after the exciting conclusion of the 2022 DGPT season that crowned Kristin Tattar and Ricky Wysocki as tour champions, the first event of the 2023 season is upon us.

Players are headed to the first ever DGPT wrap-around season event: Knowledge Management presents the Lake Marshall Open powered by Prodigy. The highly lauded Lions course at Lake Marshall features a mix of wooded and open shots with plenty of water features. In the open division, Chris Dickerson sits atop the registration list and will face off against a list of well know names including, Joel Freeman,  Ezra Aderhold, Emerson Keith, Paul Ulibarri, Matt Bell, Conner O’Reilly, and Andrew Fish. On the FPO side, Sarah Hokom tops the ratings charts and will be joined by Natalie Ryan, Macie Velediaz, and Holly Finley, amongst others.

◊ While the Lake Marshall area does not have sufficient cellular infrastructure to support a live broadcast, fans can look forward to post-production coverage released next day on the DGPT YouTube channel and on Disc Golf Network.

As announced earlier this week, the Disc Golf Network is adding final-day live coverage of the National Amateur Disc Golf Tour’s Championship event in Austin, Texas, this coming weekend. Competition will take place at a Dave Feldberg-designed layout at the Live Oak Brewing Disc Golf Course. Live broadcasts of the final nine holes of both the FPO and MPO divisions will feature some of the best amateur disc golfers from across the country and take place this Saturday, October 29th. Broadcast times are scheduled for 1:00 PM CT (FPO) and 3:30 PM CT (MPO). Live coverage will be available exclusively for Disc Golf Network subscribers.

After finishing up about an hour early today at the Oregon Manufacturers’ Summit in Tigard, I thought I would try and get greedy and sneak in ONE MORE disc golf course before I returned to my new courses desert in Coos Bay (the nearest course to me that I have not played is about 75-80 minutes East of me). A Magic Number in the Single Digits – Tonn’s Travels

Today I was back on the road. This time for a half-day trip North to the suburbs of Portland, Oregon, to attend the Oregon Manufacturers’ Summit in Tigard. After having a few days to rest after last weekend, I had a bunch of energy and wanted to make another strong push to play as many new courses between Coos Bay and Portland as I could! And by tonight, typing this from my hotel room, I can now say that I have reduced my magic number to 2,000 disc golf courses played into the single digits.
