2022 Winter Disc Golf Guide

Winter is coming – But that doesn’t mean you need to put your discs away. The 2022 Winter Disc Golf Guide was released this past week to help you brave the cold and get back out on the course. The guide offers helpful tips from Innova Team members, our cold-weather disc suggestions, and an update on the latest Innova apparel and accessories to keep you warm and stylish this winter. Chilly temperatures, wind, and snow – none of these elements promotes top performance, so winter rounds become less about setting records and more about simply enjoying the game. We hope our Winter Disc Golf Guide can give you the info and encouragement needed to get out there and show the snow who’s Boss.

Team Innova Sweeps Podium at New World Championship

Team Innova’s ladies had an unbelievable performance at last weekend’s New World Championship in Jacksonville, Florida. Maria Oliva finished in 1st, Deann Carey in 2nd, and Jessica Weese in 3rd, making for an FPO sweep of the podium for Innova! The event was a DGPT Silver Series with points counting towards the 2023 Point Standings. This was Maria Oliva’s first Pro Tour victory of hopefully many to come. Star Team member, Garrett Gurthie, had a great weekend as well, taking 2nd place in MPO. Innova is already racking up points for the 2023 DGPT Standings and the year hasn’t even begun.

Crunch Time at Maple Hill

Welcome to the regular season finale of the 2022 Disc Golf Pro Tour. Welcome to Maple Hill. The final Elite Series event is set at the beloved and challenging track in Leicester, Massachusetts for the  2022 MVP Open at Maple Hill. It’s a limited field of 81 MPO and 44 FPO players for the last  DGPT Playoff  event where players are vying for positioning, and for some, a spot in the DGPT Championships in three weeks in Charlotte, North Carolina. Adam Hammes and Catrina Allen return as the defending champions from 2021 and both are looking to close out their respective seasons on a high note.
